Where to stay

Czech Republic is in the top-five most expensive housing markets in the Europe. Other countries have equally expensive rents, but with salaries much higher. If you’re searching for an accommodation, and you want to save money, consider renting an unfurnished flat. Normally, even if unfurnished, apartments usually still come with a stove and refrigerator, so you won’t have to spend money on large appliances.

There are many of Buy/Sell/Trade groups on Facebook where you can find furniture, small appliances, and literally anything else you might need to equip your apartment in a cheap way.
Private rooms or flats can be found through newspaper advertisements, websites, or real estate agencies. If you are considering finding an accommodation with students, you could check notice boards in the university buildings too.
