Traineeships
A student may wish to undertake an optional or voluntary internship with the aim of gaining work experience in a particular field.
A new law has been adopted the 9th June 2020 for the execution of traineeships in Luxembourg.
Traineeships and their content as well as the organisation within the company are defined in the law.
All traineeships are subject to a traineeships agreement, including clear guidelines regarding:
-the compensation of trainee;
-the duration of the traineeship;
-the content of the traineeship agreement.
