The Institute of Employment and Vocational Training (Instituto do Emprego e Formação Profissional) is the public employment service in Portugal. In mainland Portugal, the Institute has a network of more than 80 local employment services: www.iefp.pt/redecentros.
There are also public employment services in the autonomous regions of Madeira (Employment Institute of Madeira - IEM) And the Azores (Regional Employment and Vocational Training Directorate). The Institutes provides information on job vacancies in Portugal. Here, you can register your CV and access thousands of job listings around the country.
If you have a Portuguese social security identification number (NISS) and a password for Segurança Social Direta (Social Security Direct), you can also register and gain access to job opportunities available on iefp online: iefponline.iefp.pt/.
